Embassy expressed determination to work cooperatively
(Yaregal Yehuale) British embassy to Ethiopia expressed its determination to work together with the Ethiopian government in the new Millennium. Embassy stuff members plant tree seedlings at the Millennium Park.
Speaking at the occasion, British Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E Mr. Bob Dower said “the embassy will involve more in activities aimed at accelerating the country’s socio-economic development”
The ambassador told that he was delighted seeing the celebration being undertaken with the spirit of unification and development, and added that, such approach will play a vital role in building the country’s good image.
More than 125 embassy stuff members planted two indigenous trees each as part of the“2 trees for 2000” campaign.
