Exhibition on Waste Treatment and Disposal Launched

A week long Exhibition on alternative ways of waste treatment and disposal has been launched on 21 November 2007 at Meskel Square as part of the annual ‘Hidar sitaten’ day.

The exhibition is intended to share experiences among waste clearing service providing agencies and the society on alternative ways of dry and liquid waste clearing, treatment, recycling and disposal systems.

Various constructive and environmental friendly alternative ways of waste treatment and recycling technologies are introduced at the exhibition.

The exhibition as well as the symposium is organized by the Addis Ababa Millennium Secretariat and Office of Addis Ababa City Manager in collaboration with different governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as several concerned individuals.
