Secretariat, City Administration to Celebrate Nations and Nationalities Day

The Addis Ababa Millennium Secretariat and the City Administration jointly set up a committee to celebrate the up coming Nations and Nationalities Day at the city level.

In a press briefing delivered yesterday at the city Municipality, Committee Coordinator
Abebe Nigatu said that, the committee has finalized preparations to celebrate the day colorfully in Addis Ababa city.

The Day will be celebrated with symposiums, circus shows, brass band music parade and with various gigs and concerts beginning from Dec7, 2007.

Awassa town will host this year's Nations Nationalities Day which will be celebrated at the national level on Dec 9, 2007.

It is remembered that, Addis Ababa has hosted the last years Nations Nationalities Day vibrantly and successfully.
